Ready to Swim

When we went swimming Wednesday, he had the sun in his eyes and didn't like it, so today he wore his sunglasses. The sunscreen is rubbed in all the way, someone was lucky enough to get Mom's pasty white skin.

Standing all by himself, he just takes off walking.

Coming Soon

Sooner than you might think if you blink

Playing with Owen

This is actually the nice playing, you just missed Charlie rolling on him while yanking his fur.

Helping Dad

He managed to pull the screwdriver out of the toolbox, and enjoyed it a great deal. Owen should have run in fear as "poke eyes" is a favorite game.

Now for the fun!

Ready for Anything

Well, this is why dogs hold their toys in their mouths, too - no free hands!

I should really cut it, it makes a little rat-tail in the back when it's wet, but he's definitely not a big enough boy for a hair cut. I will not hear opposition.

Can't let the sun in our eyes!

More Walking

This is not the best he can do, but it is the best he can do on film :)

Ball

Look at those motor skills!

Trapped

Helping us move stuff...

Birthday Kisses

Charlie gives me wet birthday kisses, which have to stop when they turn to biting my nose.

Popsicle

I let him try my lime popsicle. He acted like this, but he kept taking licks!

Splashing

He likes to splash!

Charles Junkel, Canine Jailer

Whenever we put Owen in his bed, Charlie can't resist going over to see what's going on. Owen thinks he's torturing him.

Charlie Walks

Here is what you've all been waiting for - Charlie walking independently!

Charlie says "boy"

I swear, he's repeating me. Now if only he'd say "mom." What a good Mother's Day present!

Bath fun

Charlie always loves the bath, but now he can sit in it while it fills up and he is crazy about trying to catch the water. He does it with toys that water pours out of, too - he's very excited about the motion and thinks he can capture it.

Walking with Box

Before he decided he could push the walker, he had to work with the box. No wheels, but great for stability.

Walking with Walker

There he goes...sorry the camera's range is so short. Oh, and note his tongue as the video ends.

Standing with Walker

Once he runs into something walking, he plays and then takes off. I think he's talking to the radio.
