Post Halloween

She wanted to be the bumblebee so bad and she did not want to take it off. Also, candy

Halloween

The kids are so excited to go trick or treating! We did not get great pictures from my perspective on the couch, but here they are

And here's me and baby

Bedrest

I've been on bedrest 8 days and the kids come visit

Perot Museum

We went to the Perot for Lucy's birthday and had lots of fun. She mostly wanted to see the pretty rocks

We did lots of other things too, and the girls played in the little kids' area

Tessa did not find the apron very helpful

New Shoes

The girls got new shoes with birthday money and are delighted.
You can see Tessa behind them. She didn't get new shoes but they helped her change hers so she could participate in the excitement.

Fish

Caught one last weekend!

Picnic

Here are Tessa and Nora at Lucy's birthday picnic

Tessa loved the model train coming around

Someone asked if it was for Halloween, but Nora just likes to be Bat Nora

Six!

Lucy Anne is 6! She has been so excited about it being her day. We went to 7:00 Mass and she got presents opened before that! With help

I got a dress out of her gifts for her to wear too

She wanted cinnamon rolls, a picnic we got at McDonald's, and grilled cheese while watching a movie

We met friends at the park and saw the train museum. Saturday we're going to the Perot to see all the rocks that look like jewels. That's Lucy! We're so glad to have her

Nora

These are terrible pictures but she went around yesterday saying "I a witch, I riding my broom"
Until she'd knocked into everyone enough I made her stop

Today she got in the stickers

Now she's doing her favorite, building

Possessive

Tessa and I went to the store and there was another baby. Tessa had her hands on my arm to make sure everyone knew who I belong to

Hand Feeding

Owen gets the white-glove treatment around here

I'm not sure it's his preference, but he's going along with it

Holy water

Tessa loves the holy water font. It's so accessible if you can move chairs
She'll come put some on me too
"Fadder, son" We're so blessed. And damp.

Is Tessa a Baby?

She is NOT, if you ask her. She is TWO

Our Lady of the Rosary

In what is easily the most (only?) anticipated rosary of the year, we prayed with chocolate chips, marshmallows, and donuts. There should probably be ships of some kind too.

Most kids were pretty excited

But it's hard when you can't eat it all right at once

It's better when the eating starts

Tessa is not much at praying, but she's excellent at eating

Trip

We went on an airplane ride to Minnesota for Aunt Kelsey's wedding. I don't have many pictures but we were a SPECTACLE at the airport
Charlie was so excited I thought he'd take off before the plane
Hotel and borrowing hats
Fancy wedding hats for Lucy

Zoo

Nora's speech therapist took this. She builds elaborate zoos to show her. Then she lined everyone up

Game

Tessa has a game. You hide the bear and the toddler finds it under a box. Well, she "want do it myself" so she hid the bear, left the room, came back and said "I hide my eyes!" and then found it proudly.

This is my ideal game.
