Divine Mercy Sunday

It's Divine Mercy Sunday! We prayed

And went to James' birthday activity, Avengers

And finished up with Divine Mercy sundaes

Max had a good day on James's  birthday. He played at the library with his favorite baby doll

And he really enjoyed supper

James turns 9

James' birthday was Friday! We started with cinnamon rolls.

Then chicken strips and nerf guns at the park

Cake with layers of jam! (Jam is his favorite good. Maybe it's Frances, maybe it's because you can't spell James without jam.) For supper, spaghetti and meatballs and watching Star Wars.

He saw I was taking Tessa's picture and gestured that he'd like one too. I also recommend having kid #6.

Tessa’s snappy jammies

These are Tessa's FAVORITE. I don't know why we call them snappy jammies, since they button, but she can button them herself now! (Usually I give button lessons to 3 year olds, starting with big buttons they're not currently wearing, but she went straight to the big leagues.) Since they're almost outgrown (size 24 mo haha), I wanted to document. Yes, she's wearing a matching rosary.

After seeing this one, she said "why am I holding my pants?" Um, only you can know that.

I get so many comments on this kid's big personality. She calls herself T-e-s-s-a and runs her tongue back and forth when she's working and smiles like this all the time.  She is always entertaining strangers, and us. I can't recommend getting to kid #5 strongly enough. 

Bluebonnets

There were bluebonnets at the park, so I got some pictures. Not GOOD pictures, but some.

This one is the best, which is funny because she was the kid who complained most.

Nora lost a third bottom tooth!

Digging

We went to the park and the kids dug up a ball diamond. Lucy said they were in the arena finding the bodies of Sts. Felicity and Perpetua so she could venerate them.
