Haircut
Tessa wanted her hair cut off because she's tired of tangles, so I gave her a haircut. Spoiler: she's still adorable.

Chile Day 8
Perhaps the kids' favorite part of our stay was breakfast. They do a buffet, and also make food on request. Many, many mini donuts were consumed. And the servers seemed to enjoy our bunch, and put out hats for our last day.
Here we are with the breakfast staff.
The kids went back to the park one more time while Max had a nap, and then we went to the airport, where they had a great play place.
We did love Chile!
Chile Day 7
This was the second day Justin went in to work, so we took it easy. We went back to the park and the kids climbed the ropes. Then we watched a movie in the hotel. Max was a fan of all of it.
Chile Day 6
We did the kids' favorite thing and took the gondolas again. They enjoyed the beautiful day and chasing each other around.
Gondolas!
This is the park structure they enjoyed the most.
We went back to the mall and had supper, and posed with some elephant.
They had a playplace too.
I have never seen the kids drink so much water. They loved to get themselves drinks, especially from the giant 6L bottles. This isn't terrifying at all.
Chile Day 5
On Monday we went up into the Andes. It was higher than we thought it would be - almost 10,000 feet, and it was cold. We got the kids hats.
This little nugget just kills me
We needed hot chocolate to get through
Mountain family picture!
Max loves to come get in a picture. He stands so seriously.
It was beautiful. People were still skiing, but the season was closing. September is the tail end of their winter.
Chile Day 4
Sunday we went to church. We walked to the Church of Divine Providence and Max was a pill. So much so that a stranger gave him a banana. Probably should have gotten pictures, but Mass was enough of a struggle.
That afternoon we went to the Natural History Museum. It shows the regions of Chile with taxidermied animals in examples of their habitats.

Chile Day 3
While trying to decide what to do, the San Cristobel hill we saw recommended turned out to be the park we visited the day before. At the top, after taking the gondolas, there is a gorgeous 22 meter high Virgin Mary and church.
Yes, this a family photo in a columbarium.
We lit candles in the lovely church dedicated to Mary.
Look at the carvings of her life.
Then we had ice cream.
More gondola riding!
We went to the Patio Bellavista that evening and had dinner and did some shopping.
