Sleepy

I found Butterscotch curled up with sleeping Jamie. He's warm and cuddly.

Snow

It snowed! Real snow! Everyone was excited, but Nora was delighted. She is unbothered by the cold or wet and demands to be taken out when anyone goes.

 The boys are big enough to really help shovel.

Charlie made snow angels and Jamie shoveled the neighbors' walk.

Nora rolled around.

Our bulbs are not happy, but everyone else is.

Snowy school

We were having school and it was snowing.

It was very cozy. By afternoon it was like it had never snowed.

Sledding

The neighbor invited us to ice sled so we got bundled up.

We hauled them around.

Mardi Gras

We opened with King Coffee Cake. I found the ring, which was disappointing for those who demolished their cake searching.

We aren't having treats during Lent, so we're clearing out the open stuff. It was all day treating.

A little math to go with the m&ms

We made Mardi Gras masks.

Who are these people? Must be strangers. I took the strangers to chick fil a for lunch, and then blessedly quiet, treat-free nap.

We finished the day with pancakes and bacon, because I love a tradition. We've had pancakes many a Mardi Gras, but eating up the treats was new and Charlie told me it was the best day of their lives, so we might have to do it again :) Happy Fat Tuesday and may you have a wonderful Lent!

As we learn to celebrate the liturgical year, upcoming Ash Wednesday has no fans. But St Valentine is fun!

Lucy woke up panicked from nap, worried about the "blue air" on her arms. Oh right, mesh sleeves.

We went for a walk in the woods. Nora got to walk and loves it. She wa so proud.
