In a few months, Bernadette will be ready to move into the girls' room (what??) and they wanted an extra bed still, and not another triple because of reduced head room. So we got a new style and Isi moved, to her delight. Lucy will be next to her and Nora is staying on top. Tessa is disappointed to remain in the same place.

He would like some attention

Milky periodically demands someone pet him. Usually someone who isn't interested. He put himself on Tessa's face and arms until she caves or pushes him off.

Bernadette is suspicious of Grandpa Jeff, but I think he's winning her over. Also, it's July and we had coats and a fire and also getting in a lake. Montana!

Kayak

James saved up and bought a kayak, and we finally took it out for the 4th! We all had turns going out.

Hike

Justin and 3 kids had planned a long backpacking trip which got truncated for steepness/lightning. But here's Nora on the part they did!

Popsicle

Bernadette saw everyone else had popsicle and needed her own. She loved it.
