Charlie's tricks

Charlie wanted to show everyone - and watch himself - his great fun somersaulting and jumping straight up. But Jamie tries to steal the show :)

Children's Museum

On our last day of vacation, we went to a children's museum. The boys had a blast. (Also, blogger now lets me upload more pictures, so I'm not filtering as many, as you can see

There was stuff to climb.

Stuff to drive

Stuff to ride

A water table

with a pump. Wow.

Charlie wants to get rid of running water and do this at home.

If a small person climbed a ladder,

and went down a tunnel,

there was a slide!

Both boys thought that was fun.
Then Daddy helped Charlie build earthquake-proof buildings

and pressed the rumble button to watch them fall down.

Charlie and Grandpa worked on some too.

Even Jamie got in on the action.
When the lure of the dinosaurs called Charlie, Jamie got to try himself.

Charlie fed the dinosaurs plants and animals.

They both went down the volcano slide many times.

One of Charlie's favorite activities, and one I got pictures of!, was picking apples, putting them in the barrel, and turning the wheel to send them up and watch them fall down again.

It was a great day in St Joseph, no one minded the rain at all.

Lake Michigan

Here is Charlie enjoying his first walk on the beach.

Isn't it a great view? Just a block from where we were staying.

And then Jamie joined us. We didn't go in the water much this day because it was very cold!

We spread out on the beach and played in the sand and eating sandy food.

Professional Photos

We met with a professional photographer a couple weeks ago, Scott Hollrah. He did a great job! Since we used an individual, we did not get prints. He recommended ordering from mpix.com, if anyone wants copies of their own. To get better quality, if you want to order a print let me know the pictures you want and I'll email you the file.
