Grandmas Visit

Charlie's Math

Charlie wanted to make a video showing how he does his math and what he's learned. Understanding tens is tough, but hundreds have been a little easier.

Christmas Gifts

We opened with treats.

 Then presents. From us, each kid got something they want, need, wear and read. Plus a couple from other people, it was plenty of gifts. Lucy loved her animal rescue shape sorter truck

Jamie got some work boots and Charlie was half out of his mind until he opened some too. He was so afraid he didn't "need" to work.

 Daddy got a water barrel. Look, it's taller than the kids.

 A marble run

 Tractor, plane, and bus.

 Nora wonders what she missed sleeping in.

 Charlie had fun assembling their new gear machine.

 Lucy "needed" a sleeping bag for future camping.

 Since the boys already had one, she was ready for living room campouts.

 Then Charlie assembled the marbleworks. His brain had a good day ;)

 Nora still did not do much except hang out.

We were reading our Bible story and Lucy felt for the Wise Men:





Fortunately, apparently they did find "the Big Bad Wolf and the Lion!!!!" although they couldn't locate Jesus.

Big Kids

We got some awesome aprons and a kitchen spoon in the mail. The kids were super excited to wear them, even if they were a little large for children.

 Nora did not get to wear an apron, but she did get to nurse, which she prefers anyhow.

After Shower Nora

Nora likes to shower with Mama instead of have a bath. And then cuddles!

 I love awkward smiles. It's such a new skill.

Dragon Protection

We were having family movie night, eating pizza and watching How To Train Your Dragon. This may have been a mistake, as every time a dragon came onscreen people were scared. Justin provided dragon protection helmets.

 Nora felt confident without one.

Sadly, it did not convince Lucy who got her gun and started yelling "pistol fire! pistol fire!"

 Yes, she's shooting at the tv.
