Potty training

Day 1 (3 weeks ago) we went nakey for a while. Ok, not we. Just Charlie.

Showing off the underwear. Big boys wear underwear!

Just a cute picture of Charlie stacking blocks. But wearing underwear!

I cropped this picture, just for you, his viewing public. Oh, my baby is growing up.

Cars

When Charlie woke up this morning, he was saying "cars, cars, cars" as he pointed to them on his pillow and sheets. Thanks Grandma Margaret for the cool patterns!

Charlie and his brother

This video is a little embarrassing for me, but I couldn't resist showing you what a sweet boy Charlie is to his little brother.

Baby Junkel

Here are the pictures you've all been waiting for - the littlest Junkel! Who is not quite named yet.

The tech said this little foot is about an inch long!

And, it's official. A boy!

Imagination

As you know, Charlie is more for pushing cars around than playing with dolls, but yesterday I gave him his snack and he sat on the floor and when I looked over - he set his kitty on his leg and fed it Goldfish. He'd hold it there for a minute, then eat it himself, then get another for kitty. Such a big boy, imagining things!

Snow

When it was finally up to the 20s, we decided to play in the snow. Charlie was suspicious of all the layers.

Aunt Kelsey helps him walk in the deep snow.

Ooh, snowflakes.

Helping Dad shovel the driveway.

Not at all sure he wants to be in this stuff.

Humpf. Why is my nose frozen?

Having just a little bit of fun in spite of himself.

Christmastime

We didn't take any pictures at any Christmas this year (we are shockingly bad at documenting while not at home), so all the pictures of our trip are from Grandma's camera.

Here's Aunt Kelsey reading a favorite book after Charlie ignored present-opening.

Camera? Is that you?

Some holiday Goldfish

Mama and Charlie and Baby

More food! Charlie's starving!

Watching some New Year's Day football with Grandpa.
