Brothers
Having big brothers is fun. The larger the age gap, the better it is.
When the age gap is smaller, you might steal your brother's sleep mask and when he tattles you might refuse to engage by making yourself invisible with said sleep mask.

Calgary
We went on our only family vacation of the summer for Labor Day weekend and used our passports to drive to Calgary, Alberta. It was a lot of fun.
We went to a living history museum which was huge. We rode a real 1940s train around it.
It has a midway with rides from the 20s which the kids loved. This carousel is over a century old.
First Isi was mad because she couldn't ride a horse. She made this face frequently on this trip.
Not Max, he was delighted.
But she came around once it started and we also saw a lot of this face.
Here's a printer's shop. I got a copy of school rules from Canadian history. The kids don't want them.
Speaking of schools. Another visitor said to me as we left, "can you imagine having all those grade levels?" and I said, "well, yes, I can." 😂
Several kids wanted to pose with the animal statues.
All of them.
There was also an antique car museum. I got a lady to take our picture and she was shocked by how many of us there were. Are big families even less common in Canada? I don't know.
We finished up with the play area. A really great day at the Heritage Park.
If you look closely at these two, you can find all the kids.
You can see how patiently Max is waiting.
Isi was less patient.
Here's some post swimming movie fun. The hotel had a great pool with waterslides.
This was a great meal at a Nepalese-Canadian restaurant. We had poutine!
And also momo and spring rolls and it was the best food most of us had eaten in a long time. Some people had grilled cheese, though.
Our last hurrah was the Calgary Tower. It was cool, and would have been better without such a smokey atmosphere. We couldn't see the mountains.
The floor here is glass, which freaked everyone out.
