Morning Mass

We prefer to be overdressed. 

Camping

Friday night it poured. We had dinner in town and hung out inside. But the next morning, eggs and bacon!

We walked

Owen too

In the afternoon we stayed in the shade

And then had a campfire

This morning, it's somebody's fifth birthday!

We had pancakes

Then they heard a story while we packed up.

Nora night

Everyone is in bed early except Nora! She is cuddling and kissing a baby doll.

Also, I guess I'm kissing a doll too.

She tries to add a second baby, but that's hard. As well I know.

She and the baby are getting along fine 

until she stuffs her in the cat toy and then promptly forgets where she left her. Ah well, better not put her in charge of her little sister.

Perhaps playing with my kindle is just more fun.

Beadwork

Nora wanted these to stay between her toes awful bad.

There's a New Elsa in Town

She gave it to me to put her in it and is pleased with the result.

It's a little big, but she doesn't mind.

Beds

In light of this little girl nugget coming our way, we've had beds on our minds.

So we got out the other girls' bed, bought a mattress, and set up our big girls. No crib!

I don't think Nora understands, but she liked sitting there.

 

Charlie Video

Charlie used his kid camera to take a video of his sisters jumping on the trampoline. Yes, Nora did bring me the hat and mittens and request to wear them.

Food

I think Nora is really good at imaginative play for a not-yet 1.5 year old. She pretends to cook and eat a lot.

And feed me.

Yum yum.

Easter

Holy Saturday we dyed eggs

Then we went to 6:30 Mass on Easter. Lucy greeted the wake up with: "is it Easter? Can I wear my Easter dress?!?!" They were so cute the church asked us to present the gifts.

After church we hunted eggs. I can't find the Easter baskets but these worked.

Nora gave up the hunt when she discovered there was candy inside. Better just to eat that while we're busy.

A lot of fun was had at the park, but I only got pictures of what I call "picking up trash with a stick".
