Still More Things Jamie Can Do

Well, the jumperoo isn't new. But who doesn't love a Jamie-in-the-jumperoo photo?

Here, he crawled down the hallway by himself into Charlie's room where he proceeded to play with the car.

He used it to pull himself up and probably tried to run away with it before deciding he's not THAT big yet.

Christmas

This is Charlie at the Grapevine light show. Both boys got a kick out of the synchronized lights and music.

Christmas morning! Stockings!

What was in there? banana!

Jamie's just excited to be involved.

Presents were confusing for Charlie. He really just wanted to open a couple and go play, and he didn't know what a lot of them were.

Jamie wanted to eat the paper.

Paper was a hit with both, actually.

So exciting!

Owen is getting involved, hoping for food.

I don't know what Jamie is doing here, but it's pretty funny.

After he got a few books, Charlie just wanted to read. Don't know where he got that :)

Food

Jamie finally decided to feed himself, starting with the mum mum, which is a rice cracker.

Come back! Give me more!

Me: Charlie, what did you have in your mouth?
Charlie: Not anything!

In his defense, I think that was true. I think he got marker all over his hands and then rubbed them on his face.

Jamie on the Move

Jamie has places to go and people to see. No more lying around for him. There's video of him going if I can just get it uploaded.

Here, he's crawled over to the hearth and pulled himself up. After this he can haul himself onto the hearth and try to play with the fireplace tools.
And here's one of those 5 big teeth!

Playground

Jamie was bored watching us assemble and had flipped himself over, while completely strapped in, eventually almost tipping over. He's a Houdini, that child.

So then he laid on some cardboard while we put it together.

Hmm, grass.
Here's Justin, using ratchet tie downs to pull the pieces together. So much for "you only need a hammer."
Here it is! All finished. Justin is trying to coax Charlie into playing, but Charlie is more interested in the moon.

Jamie, always adventurous, is happy to give it a try.

Jamie Laughs

It's very disappointing that this video is on its side. Because it is HILARIOUS. Justin is tossing Charlie's bead necklace over Jamie's head, and he loves it. This had been going on for some time before we took video - Jamie really enjoys this game.

Jamie and his Lambie

This is gratuitous posting of Jamie. There is no reason you need to see three pictures except that he's so darn cute and we haven't done anything else this week.

And here's a picture of Charlie wanting his picture taken. What's Jamie doing there in the background? Yearning, I think.

Odds and Ends

Charlie wanted me to take his picture, he thought it was hilarious!

Jamie playing with Owen, sitting up so big

Charlie and Jamie playing together with the musical book.

Jamie, standing himself up on the bouncer. Who told this child he's big enough to do that?

Busy Boys

Sorry I've been so post-less. Here are a few things we've been up to:

Perhaps the most exciting, Jamie is crawling! Some.

Charlie is himself. As usual.

Jamie is pretty mobile, and doesn't want to just sit when he could be looking at Charlie's toys.

He can also turn super thick pages.

And, he's eating food. This picture is inaccurate, though, he won't feed himself.

More Things Jamie Can Do

Hold cars.

Play cars with Charlie.

Play with Owen.

Fly like Superman!

Also, drink from a straw. But there are no pictures of that.

Book

Here's everybody having a bedtime book. We all start sitting.

Jamie starts grabbing for the pictures.

Pretty soon he's on his tummy.

And everyone has to lean to reach the book.

But it's a good story :)
