Look What Jamie Can Do

He can pull on Owen.

He can make the toy light up.

He can push the buttons on the book.

He can (kind of) drink water from his own cup.

This one makes him pretty proud.

And he can sit up, if supported, for a minute. What a big 6-month-old!

Standing

First of all, here's an adorable picture of the little monkey in the jumperoo. He's so content, for so long.

Then, Charlie and I were looking at pictures of baby Charlie, and I noticed that at this age, Charlie first stood by himself. And guess who else can?

He won't look at me. Who's he looking at? Well, he's fluffy and about Jamie's size.

He's pretty proud.

Charlie's Halloween Costume

Maybe I should wait until Halloween to show Charlie's costume, but who knows whether I'll get such good pictures?

Fire station dog?

Well, at least he likes it!

Eating

Here's Charlie eating his cookie bar.

I had been putting Jamie to bed, leaving Charlie in the dining room. He was very quiet. When I came back, he looked like this:

I asked what he'd been doing, and he showed me:

I like ranch too.

Bonus: Here's Jamie, eating his bumbo. He doesn't sit very ergonomically in it, for all its claims.

More of Our Trip

Grandma takes anyone interested for a wheelbarrow ride.

Owen did not remain interested for long.

It was beautiful Iowa weather to sit outside.

Charlie always loves to play with a new puppy.

Charlie loves watering cans. He plays with mine at home. Grandma Patti has two.

Thanks Grandma Margaret for the pictures!

Jamie's Teeth

Here's me trying to get a picture of Jamie's two bottom teeth. Mostly he just licked my finger.

But here you can see them if you look hard.

Our Trip

We had a great trip to Missouri and Iowa, but I didn't get many pictures. Here's what I got:

Grandpa and Jamie playing with the red bird.

Grandma and Jamie reading a book (from Grandma Pat!). It has parts that lift and Jamie loves to lift them.

Charlie was not sure he wanted to sit on the lawn mower, but eventually he gave it a try. He didn't want it turned on, though.
