Outside

Lucy was still at nap and the boys begged to take Nora outside. She was happy to go along.

She's their doll and they haul her where they want.

 They all especially enjoyed group wagon rides.

We were watching, and they were very careful with her. They just really wanted to spend time with her and play. It was cute.

Thanksgiving

We went to the zoo!

Jamie didn't see the real gorilla, but he did ride a metal one

Nora almost managed to grab the gorilla

Lucy wanted to ride on Daddy's shoulders...until she got there

Nora got to walk through the reptile house, and she was overjoyed

After the zoo we went out for Mexican food, just like the Pilgrims

But at night we had our turkey feast

Nora got to use a spoon herself and she was ridiculously proud. Happy Thanksgiving!

Big Sister/Little Sister

Nora was wearing her new (to her) Little Sister shirt, and Lucy knew she had to match!

More Walking

Remember last week, how Nora was like "oh, right, I can walk?" Well, here's what a week of that has been:


She's just everywhere, standing herself up, bending over to get things, carrying things, in general being the Big Girl she's always believed herself to be.

Burritos

Grandma came. We ate breakfast at Rudy's. The boys are 3 each. Lucy had 2. Then they all had ice cream. And I passed out a little. The end.

Two full months ago, Nora was taking several steps, and then she just -stopped. No more walking. Until the last couple days, when it's all this all the time.

Everyone else was in bed and Nora and I played.

I bought Nora this penguin costume, but the head didn't fit right and she didn't like it

Once she got that off, she realized she could un-velcro the rest of it, and that was that

So I put her in Lucy's old bumblebee costume and she was happy and adorable

"Lucy, what do we say when we ring the doorbell?" "I want candy!!"

They got lots of great candy and had so much fun ringing doorbells and running around the neighborhood in the dark. Justin and I had fun remembering all the other years they've done this and how much they've grown.
