Living history farms

We went to living history farms for the first time in 6 years.

They wanted to pet the sheep but that seemed risky 

Somehow I didn't get a picture with my friend Lucy who works at LHF but she took this one 

We had lunch at machine shed. They serve pork and corn

For Hire

For the small fee of $1.50, they'll pull weeds and collect dog poop. Thanks Julie!

Max loves food. Loves it. He sits there chattering until I give him something. Most of the kids haven't been very interested until 8 months, but he's an overachiever.

I gave him a little piece of cheese and he's working it around his mouth 

But he's so excited to be eating it he smiles and it falls out

It's the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus! We went to Mass and then had Sacred Heart muffins. 

Raspberry muffins with pineapple rays and whipped cream thorns? Eh, I tried.
