It's a lovely fall day in Texas. 

Max has never liked to swing, but today I barely moved the swing and he thought it was ok

We had a picnic. There were cookies

Sunday fun

We went for a walk at the nature preserve and had a picnic

And carved pumpkins!

Nora’s cake

She requested an Immaculate Heart of Mary cake, so I made one. Got a heart pan, red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting, purple flowers

Nora is 5!

Lucky charms, pasta, and potato soup were her choices

And she got her first library card!

Max drinks

I finally taught Max to drink from a straw and now he loves it.

More pumpkin patch

There was a hay bale maze, which everyone enjoyed

And we all got to choose a pumpkin 

Then we had a picnic, which is always the kids' favorite

We went to the pumpkin patch! There was a petting zoo

And a hayride. The girls had several friends from our group 

Lucy’s birthday

Lucy turned 7! We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast

She and James built her new legos

And her best friend Cecelia went to lunch with us. There was shrimp Alfredo for supper, while watching Wonder Woman. We're so glad to have had our Lulu for seven years!

Our hotel had decaf and the boys got a cup. I thought maybe they didn't really like coffee, but they both drank a whole cup with only a little sweetener and cream.

Wedding

We went to Justin's brother's wedding, and the kids were in it
