Nora's sick

But Tylenol and a long nap makes her happy! At bedtime! And she gets all the lanterns!

Girls Going to Bed

Here's Nora. She's picky about how she gets tucked in. 

After she gets herself just where she wants, she demands to be covered "up! Up!" Then "bunny. Kitty. Baby. Mo baby. Mo baby." Only in that order. Then "kiss! Mo kiss! Bye!" We can do this over and over every night, until I cut her off. Usually the lovies are under her arms and I'm not sure how she breathes.

If I'm taking pictures, Lucy wants in. She finally got out of the footie pjs and into something cooler, but she still tossed off the covers.

That's foxy by her head. And do you admire both girls' favorite blankies? My lovely friend Crystal crochets them!

Iowa

We had some yard fun in Iowa. We had a play mower with bubbles and a wheelbarrow.

Lucy pushed and did NOT ride the tricycle.

Also, you can't even tell we were at my parents'. It's always like this.

Charlie's birthday

Today was Charlie's seventh birthday! He had pancakes for breakfast, hamburgers for lunch, and wanted salmon for supper.

We lit candles around the pancakes because we hadn't gotten the others yet.

Were the candles the best part of the day? Maybe. He also got superhero shirts, a CD player, and money he wanted to put in his new savings account.

Library card

Jamie can sign his name so he too can get a card. He's pretty excited.

Super heroes

The library summer reading program kickoff was superhero themed and the boys were excited! We got pictures with some Avengers

And they  made masks and had a photo op. The one of them together is just too cute.

Charlie got early birthday presents from us. He really loves this electrical circuit board.

Ice cream

We had an ice cream treat because we finished our school year! Look who's a first grader now!

And a kindergartner, and...a cute toddler. 

Lucy didn't get any. I don't want to talk about it.

Dresses

Jamie took this one 

Grandma Margaret made the girls these adorable tie dresses. Lucy is in love.

The boys couldn't not have their picture taken too.

Look at the tooth gap

In a surprise, another tooth came out today. But this one was Jamie's!

It's the same tooth Charlie lost.
