Deer

Charlie, after several days of watching and waiting, killed a deer. All by himself!

I sent the boys to make snowmen, but it turns out they didn't know you were supposed to roll the balls, so they're small.

The bottles are hard to hold, because they pull hard to get the milk! These babies only stay with their moms for a day and then they're bottle fed.

We had fun on the hay bale playground too

Dairy

We visited a dairy this week and saw how they milk cows. We drank milk that had been in a cow just that morning!

They got to feed babies. (Which are not baby cows! It's not a cow unless it's given birth, so even females might never be cows. These are baby bulls, or heifers.)
