Tooth

We just discovered Lucy's tooth was loose yesterday and she was very anxious for it to come out. I told her it usually takes a while, but then at lunch and came right out! She is so proud and glad to be in this exclusive club.

Ship

The Cub Scouts stayed on the USS Lexington. The boys and Justin had a blast!

Swim Lessons

We have been having swim lessons for the past few weeks. A homeschooled girl in our group teaches them at her local pool, so the kids not being currently instructed got to play in the water. They also had a little splash pad Tessa and Nora enjoyed.

The pool  had this wide shallow area Tessa had the best time on

Now here are some skills!

James can swim pretty well, but he forgets to pull his arms out of the water



Lucy likes to dive for the rings. She can float and kick and jump too


Charlie, on the other hand, forgets to kick his legs


But he taught himself to do a headstand!

Camp

Round two of farm camp! The boys had a blast

They loved meeting the horses

James on flag duty 

And garden duty

They prepared chicken food 

And watched

One of Charlie's favorite activities was filling the horses' water

This is James' new friend Harper. They both like to giggle

Swing

We went to the park while the boys were at farm camp. It was fun at 8:30, by 9:15 it was hot!

Listening

Charlie loves the audible app and audio books

He just started Matilda and this is how he relaxes to listen 

4th

We went to a friend's for Independence Day. They had water gun and balloon  fights, a pool, and poppers. Kid nirvana

No one is shocked James is a water balloon fighting champ

They loved the poppers and confetti 

Also chocolate 

Lucy stood way back

I thought Tessa would be scared but she loved it. She threw little poppers to hear them bang and wanted to "help" pull the confetti poppers' strings.

There were a lot of kids and the big ones did who knows what upstairs in the playroom. Nora's big eyes got her a Minion movie away from them

Then Tessa plopped on top

We tried for fireworks but potty needs sent us home. It was a great day!

Happy

Tessa is pretty delighted with this setup:

Princess dress, all her favorite stuff in a chair so no one can take it, and she can push the chair around the house. This is one year old winning
