Dirty Fun

Everyone played outside, even though we just went to the park.

Looks like Jamie is too close for comfort with the car.

The boys played with dirt in their cars and on their playground.

Did I take out my hair clip and eat dirt? Of course not, why do you ask?

Stretches

Daddy had to stretch. So clearly the boys did too.

What We're Doing Right Now

I realized I hadn't posted in a while, so I took some pictures of what's happening right now, 12:30 Friday.


Charlie is unscrewing stuff with his own screwdriver.

Kiwi Crate Game

We got a subscription to kiwi crate for Christmas. (thanks, Grandma Patti!) The first activity was a game. We (I) put together the circles, and they threw a ball.

They moved the circles around to the way they wanted them.

Then Charlie played a bingo game based on where the ball landed.

He might have stood a tad close.

Jamie lost interest and colored.

Snow

It snowed again. The boys wanted to go out and play. They got bundled up and Lucy thought she wanted to go with them. She yelled "shoes!" and found them. She cried and stood by the door. I held it open, because she doesn't like the cold, but still - she was just. sure. she wanted out. So I got her bundled in socks, shoes, mittens, hat, two coats - and this is what we got:

Glow Sticks

We turned off the lights and got out some glow sticks. At first, we only got two, but Lucy's carrying on soon alerted us that there was a third child who needed her own.

It's fun that you can see them with the flash, but it was very dark.

This is the second time we've had movie night, and I like it. The kids do too, and are rapt:

Book Fun

We played with two books today, both using a dark cave for fun.

The first part was "a wild rumpus." (Who knows what book it was??)

We had many fun wild things at our rumpus.

Even Owen came to see what the fuss was about.

The other book we talked about, we woke a sleeping bear with a flashlight, a stick, and I should have a rope. Who knows the book?

Snuggle Puppy

Lucy still loves Snuggle Puppy. Now she flips through the book, singing to herself. I caught a bit of it:

Winter Dress

 Here is Lucy in her winter dress, which comes from Crystal.

Here is Amelie, wearing it last winter.

Then the boys needed their photos taken. You can't see, but Charlie is standing directly in front of Jamie to make sure he is also photographed.

Then they all wanted to sit together and take pictures - even Lucy dropped down with them and this adorableness happened.

Clothes

Jamie needed me to take his picture in the clothes he insists he got for Christmas. (They were Charlie's and he had them well before Christmas. But look at that convincing face.)

He wished to model them.

Charlie wanted to show his new clothes too.

 Then they wanted me to show them riding their emergency vehicles.

Lucy's Stroller

Lucy wanted to push the stroller around. But when it gets stuck, she requires assistance.
