Sibling bath

Max was so excited to get in the bath with Isi. She seems to like it more, especially when I keep the washcloth wet with warm water.

More Baptism Pictures

We're all CDC approved and standing far apart, wearing masks

Max never kept his on very well, but he was adorable in it. The kids then moved, as there were plenty of seats and they wanted to see.

Chrism! That's why we're here. (You may remember we did the actual baptizing back in April. This is the rest of the ritual.)

Poorly lit family photo!

Breakfast in bed

We had been taking kids out to a one-on-one breakfast, one each month. As Tessa says "THAT CORONAVIRUS!" Her in-house pick this month was breakfast in bed with me. She says it's better than going to a restaurant, but she wishes there were donuts.  Don't we all.

Group pictures

We're all ready for our first Mass in months! Masks at the ready

Isi's godparents and Father Bradley

Lucy’s First Communion

Lucy's First Communion was decayed, but today we had a private Mass and she received!

She was so happy and excited

Sacraments!

We had a very sacramental day.

Isi was baptized her first week, but we finished the Sacrament today and got the chrism.

There was Mass and the boys lectored

Baby fun

Hi baby girl

Sitting with Daddy. This doesn't last too long before she wants Mama or to be walked around.

I'm not exaggerating how little she sleeps somewhere besides on me.

Walking with Max

We started taking the stroller because all the little kids drag behind doing this

James creates

The kids love these magnet tiles. Even Max makes all sorts of things. But James made the skyscraper- it's a birthday cake, with a candle, and he's holding a lighter.

Sleepy baby

Usually she sleeps like this
But there was a little miracle and she just fell asleep while hanging out.

I mean, these kids and their Harry Potter

Good birthday presents

For my birthday, James made me a cake (and decorated it 😂)

And Isi let me photograph her smiling! Other kids fascinated by Harry Potter.

Our quarantine day

Just a little light documentation for the future. Here's how most days are going now:

7: kids up, do jobs, eat breakfast

(Tessa believes her hair IS brushed)

8:15: haul lawn chairs to Angie's yard next door and pray a rosary 10 feet from her, then take a walk
9: school. We're doing our last 3 weeks of school in 6 weeks because I'm worn out from baby, so we only do half of everything every day. Kids with no school play, and kids who finish school join them. Lots of magnet tiles, cars, group games, and reading
11:30 lunch, where I read aloud or we discuss Harry Potter until I wish they hadn't read it
12: read, alone and me out loud
12:45: get ready for quiet time/nap, then go do it
3: clean up quiet time, snack, then play. Often outside.
5:30: supper
6:15 an episode or two of I Love Lucy. We just finished season one.
7-8: sometimes scout zoom meetings, kids to bed

Today it rained, so our rosary was at home and our walk is waiting until 5 when Justin can come. Some of us did library and grocery pickup, which is exciting for Max. Isi does what she wants, when she wants!
