Charlie & The Ice Cream Cone

We went out to get desert after lunch today and we ordered Charlie the small ice cream cone - he was excited!

Playplace

Grandpa Junkel climbed up the playplace with Charlie. Charlie had fun going up and coming down the big slide.

Jamie climbed around too, as high as he could reach.

He liked to steer.

Charlie's Birthday

Charlie was very excited to open all his birthday presents. Jamie was excited to watch. Charlie let him help, when he'd stop sucking his thumb.

He prefered the ones wrapped in paper to the bags. He took it very seriously.

Jamie was excited too. So much fun stuff!

Then there was pizza, followed by cake. Charlie wanted a strawberry cake, so we made one.

A Walk

Charlie got a tricycle for an early birthday gift and loves to go on walks.

Jamie also loves to go on walks, and so does Owen. Jamie prefers to walk Owen himself, but Grandma Margaret offers her assistance.

Everyone had a good, hot, time.

Charlie and the Shaving Cream

Charlie not only played in the shaving cream, he covered everything in reach with it.

But it was a good time!

Big Ball

We got a big ball, and the boys love it.

Witness their joy on seeing it bounce.

They had a good time with it.

Shenanigans

This is a long video and not too much happens. I wouldn't usually post something like this, but for two things: early on, you can see Jamie throw the ball and say "ball," and later you can hear Charlie say his ABCs.

In the middle, they both stare, fascinated, because I turned the viewer so they could see themselves. Watching this, Jamie waved at the computer and said hi to himself.

Big Box

We got a big box in the mail. Who could fit in it?

Charlie can, but now he can't see out.

It's pretty tall, but he can handle it!

Everybody's proud when he's in.

Who needs toy? We'll take the box, thanks.
