Tessa's friend Anneliese invited us for an indoor picnic. There were mini ice cream cones.

Anneliese is younger than Tessa. But she got the height.

Chick fil a's app sends me free stuff sometimes so the littles got chicken minis while the others did gymnastics

But snacks when everyone doesn't get any is pretty much Tessa's dream

Zoo

We went to the zoo. We tried to get a picture. 8 kids is 3 too many for that

Perot

 We went to the Perot Museum today, and while we were sad that the gem section was closed, we got to do a couple new things 

This is a topography map, made with a special light so when you move the sand the light color changes and low parts are blue and high parts are red. I'm not sure that makes sense but look how happy the girls are with it.

They raced athletes, dinosaurs, and cheetahs. I didn't get pictures, but we also got captured by a slow motion camera.

You can also check out the Dino dancing. Nora especially loved this - you dance in a certain spot and a motion camera makes a video of dinosaurs do what you do. There are only three spots and we had 6 kids big enough to make it work (plus other museum goers who wanted a turn!) but they did it for quite a while.

In N Out

We went on a field trip to In N Out (again!) this morning. The kids had such a great time. They are instructed about restaurant management, and they see how the food is made. Then they make themselves some fries!

This one slays me. I stayed with Max in the dining area, but they helped Tessa. She's so serious, lifted in the air. 

The manager (who said he has seven kids himself!) was wonderful and remembered all the kids' names. He held Tessa and Nora's hands and they were thrilled.

Max got a hat and some food, so he was content.

Max tumbled and was sad. Why were his peasants not there to catch him? He needed daddy cuddles
